Guava Strudel (Pastel de Guayaba)

Haven't been in person! Ordered online and had it shipped becasue I've heard the best things about Oorto's and ... FOMO! Ordered guava strudel, guava and cheese strudel, potato balls, meat pies and chicken croquettes - baked half of all of them one night for dinner with a salad and enjoyed every last bite - the next night we ate the rest lol - two days in a row - couldn't wait to eat the rest. Seriously delicious - delicious and worth every last dollar for shipping - you don't have to live in LA to love Porto's

I LOVE LOVE this place! My favorite has to be the guava strudel. Every time I'm in California, I have to stop by and order a dozen of their cheese rolls since it's a fan favorite and such a Porto's staple. Their service is ALWAYS top notch and the environment always feel very home-y and with some of their recent locations, it's almost elevated.

I am a fan of pastries and Portos is the BOMB! The Guava strudel is delicious! The potato balls are tasty and the chocolate cake? Delicious! It's a must to stop and try the pastries!

This review is for their online service. The page is easy to navigate. The prices for their frozen pastries (comes in a dozen) are really fair ($17/ dozen). Both times I have ordered have been as presents for family members. Our favorites are potato balls, cheese rolls, the guava strudels. Easy to bake and they taste just like when you order them at their bakery. Yay!You pick the date of delivery. They are punctual and keep you updated with the tracking. If they're not on time, they'll either refund you or send another order at no extra cost. They have dry ice on there packaging so they estimate for its shelf life to be expired if not delivered when they promised. If you're ordering with a new email address you'll get a $10 off coupon ;).
