Our Wedding/Custom Cakes come exclusively from our Glendale location, where Owner Margarita Navarro and her team of Cake Specialists create unique and beautiful tiered cakes.
Passion and experience, just like eggs and butter, are the main ingredients our decorators use to design your cake. Imported chocolates, the best liqueurs and fresh fruits are combined with proven recipes and baked to perfection, resulting in moist and flavorful cakes.

Our Wedding Cake Specialist will guide you through all available options!
Wedding cakes are priced by the slice. More elaborate and detailed Wedding/Custom Cakes will affect the price.
There are creative ways to work with smaller budgets, and still showcase an impressive cake. If your party is large, you may choose to display a two-tiered cake, and then purchase non-decorated cakes that can be sliced up in the kitchen!
What cake style are you looking for?
Each year, our Wedding/Custom Cake Team evaluates the latest trends and work to create unique designs for Porto's Bakery guests. Our team of Specialists will suggest a beautiful and delicious cake but may not be able to duplicate a photo or magazine printout.
How many guests will you be serving?
The number of servings will help determine the size and number of tiers of your cake.
What flavor, filling and icing does Porto's offer?
Our four most popular combinations are available for sampling Saturdays, by appointment only. To inquire, please email

- White cake with Bavarian cream filling and buttercream icing.
- Cuban cake with pineapple and custard filling and buttercream icing.
- Chocolate cake with chocolate whipped filling and buttercream icing.
- Red velvet cake with Porto's signature cream cheese filling and buttercream icing.
When selecting fillings and icing the climate should also be considered. Will your wedding/event be indoors or outdoors? Some fillings and icings do better than others depending on weather conditions.
Do you want a cake topper?
While not necessary for many cake designs, a selection is available at our Glendale location's Cake Gallery (located on the 2nd floor.)
Delivery Information:
To ensure the best experience and peace of mind, delivery service is strongly recommended for Wedding/Custom Cakes 1-2 Tiers in size and required for 3 Tiered Wedding/Custom Cakes. Additional charges will apply for delivery, starting at $35 minimum and additional fees vary depending on the final destination. (Maximum distance is approx. 35 miles outside of Porto's Bakery Glendale.)
Our delivery drivers are experienced in transporting and handling large and delicate cakes and look forward to assisting you on your special day!
